Les
Cerisiers is part of a beautiful old Provencale mas
(farmhouse) - which dates from the 18th Century - surrounded by vines
and cherry orchards with superb views of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles
de Montmirail. The mas was restored in 2002 using local yellow stone
and old beams and is furnished in Provencal style.
|

Situated
in the Vaucluse in the little hamlet of Serres just outside Carpentras,
its proximity to Avignon (25 minutes) and Marseilles and Nimes (just
over an hour away) make it easily accessible by car, Eurostar/TGV or by
air. Ideal for a long summer holiday or as a pleasant stop-over for a
few days en route.
|
| At the
foot of Mont Ventoux, the surrounding countryside is full of
picturesque hilltop villages and vineyards and is a paradise for
walkers and cyclists as well as for those who love to browse in the
local markets and antique shops. |

|
|
Les
Cerisiers is also in the heart of the Côtes du Rhône wine region with a
wealth of famous vineyards within easy reach – Châteauneuf-du-Pape and
Gigondas are a 15-minute drive away and Beaumes de Venise (famous for
its Muscat wine) is just around the corner.

Open

those visiting us in the Autumn, at Christmas or in the early Spring we
have full central heating.
Guests
have exclusive use of the 7 x 4m pool and summer house set amid
lavender and oleander bushes next to a small olive grove. There is also
a well-equipped summer kitchen at their disposal and a gas BBQ
.

And of
course no holiday in Provence would be complete without the local
cuisine!

We
are spoilt for choice for good restaurants, both reasonably priced and
more gourmet style. Or for those who prefer to cook for themselves or
barbecue, the fresh produce in the markets is wonderful and there are
shops and supermarkets within 5 minutes’ drive. Fresh bread and
croissants are available at the baker's just a 3-minute stroll away in
Serres.
